General Duties of the Position:
- Receive/check in incoming freight. Stock/Re-stock shelves with parts shipments received.
- Perform delivery service to customer base.
- Delivery service may be a hot shot (on demand), loop delivery (route) or shuttle (scheduled Point A to Point B).
- Inventory control functions as directed by manager.
- Assist in maintaining clean and orderly working environment both in store and in delivery vehicles.
Position requires proof of good driving record. Good defensive driving skills. Organizational and time management skills. Maintain good driving record.
Education Required: High School graduation or equivalent vocational school.
Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driving license and a good driving record.
Physical demands: Moderate physical activity consisting of frequently moving average weight material. Some heavy lifting (40 to 50 lbs). Bending, stooping, standing, use of ladders, and driving.
Working Conditions /Travel Seasonally exposed to some cold, heat, dust, and dirt. Regular travel to and from customer’s place of business.
Company vehicle provided to perform customer deliveries.
Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
Salary : $16.50-$17.50 per hour
