Food Prep Person

Overview. We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team in the food industry. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting with meal preparation and ensuring food safety in our kitchen.

Duties.

• Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, peeling, and slicing ingredients
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements.

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type : Part-time

Salary : From $15.00 per hour

Experience :

• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
