Our Human Resources team is looking for a Health and Safety Specialist . Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will be responsible for the administration, effective management and oversight of our internal responsibility system and compliance programs.

What you’ll do :
- Incident investigation, root cause analysis, reporting, tracking, engagement, follow up.
- Provide guidance and expertise to ensure COR success.
- Claims Management for all WCB injuries including RTW, reporting and tracking.
- Administrate and support all health and safety committee activities, including agenda, taking minutes, and coordinating monthly inspections.
- Coordinate and facilitate external safety training events such as first aid, fall arrest, lock out tag out (LOTO).
- Maintain all Health and Safety records including but not limited to WCB reports, inspections.

- Proven self-starter and motivated team player; strong organizational and time-management skills. Confident with the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and react to changing situations.
- The ability to organize and work under strict deadlines while producing quality deliverables.
- Exceptional communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work additional or varied hours as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
