Design Engagement Consultant Canada MiTek® Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and motivated Connector Plate Regional Sales Manager in Atlantic Canada to work from a home-based office. A Brief Overview Encourage integration of offsite solutions with integrated MiTek products into designs to enhance sales. Influence structural engineers, owners, developers, general contractors, turn-key framers, and architects to understand their needs and incorporate Company components into construction materials. Collaborate with internal teams to execute design engagement programs that support customer satisfaction and promote off-site components. Lead and develop projects and initiatives. What you will do: Enhance the integration of offsite solutions with integrated MiTek products into designs by leveraging technical expertise to inspire and guide design experts in the residential building industry Educate and excite key stakeholders about new and existing Company innovations Grow the use of offsite solutions with integrated MiTek products by understanding technical and non technical building challenges from structural engineers, builders, developers, general contractors, large framers, and architects. Provide input on solutions promoting company products Share customer feedback and insights with internal departments to support development of product solutions that improve customer experience Manage strategic accounts and support complex customer needs. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction Develop and execute strategies to increase growth Maintain a market development database that includes the key accounts and prospects, the key builders, framers, engineers and building officials within the district Stay current on industry trends and emerging practices Lead and mentor other design consultants in the region. Collaborate with internal sales teams to mutually drive sales and adoption of components and builders’ products Support and lead strategies, marketing planning, and sales training initiatives. Influence and implement effective strategies to drive marketing and sales success Qualifications Bachelors Related Field required 6+ Years customer relationship management required 2+ Years Home Building and/or Residential Construction Industry required Computer knowledge including common MS-Office applications and the use of CRM applications such as Salesforce required Licensed Professional Engineer - Any State Board preferred Soft Skills Must have the ability to learn various aspects of the construction market and how Company products are used. Comfortable presenting to a technical audience Passion for learning and partnering with both small and large teams to solve complex problems in a collaborative way Thrive in a collaborative team environment focused on high level strategic planning and business strategy Action-oriented individual who is interested in an entrepreneurial, collaborative work environment Demonstrate a strong work ethic and effective communication skills History of proven effectiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with experience in working with cross-functional teams that have defined and achieved high-value objectives Strong organizational & analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop strategies that lead to business growth Strong interpersonal skills able to influence individual contributors to C-Suite executives Additional Requirements Valid drivers' license and proof of auto insurance required. 50% Travel required Physical Demands This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.
