Arbutus RV is Vancouver Island’s premier one-stop-shop for everything RV. Meeting the needs of RVers since 1988, Arbutus is Vancouver Island’s largest sales, parts and service team at 7 locations throughout the island.

As the industry leader, Arbutus RV is always looking to enhance our guest’s experience. Although our team is second-to-none, we are always looking to evolve and expand our teams.

Who are you?

We are looking for a driver for our Sidney location. This position entails moving trailers/RV's on the lot, transferring units between Arbutus RV's 7 Vancouver Island Locations, delivery of units to purchasers' locations and setup. This position also includes preparation of RV's to get them ready for delivery, help clean inside/outside of RV's.

Some experience with RV's is essential and must be comfortable backing trailers into tight spots. Class 3 and/or air brake endorsement recommended. Strong customer service and organizational skills will be considered an asset.

Essential Job Functions

  • Moving trailers/RV's on the lot
  • Transferring units between locations
  • Delivering units to purchasers locations
  • Set up of units for purchasers
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • May cross-train to perform other duties
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager

Essential Job Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
  • Attention to detail a must

Health & Safety

  • Strict adherence to all health & safety policies is necessary
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to work in a shared office space
  • Bending, lifting, kneeling as it relates to filing
  • Ability to deal with management, co-workers and vendors using calm, effective and courteous communication
