Educator

North Shore Child Care Centre is looking for energetic, creative Educators to join our Pre-Kindergarten and School Age Programs. Educators will be asked to provide daily indoor/outdoor experiences and activities that allow children to freely explore, theorize, and build relationships with materials, objects, and people.

Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, be highly self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, be observant, be adventurous, and be team oriented.

Educators will work in an environment that promotes inquiry-based projects, exploring the more than human communities, collaborative teamwork, and flexible program planning.

Licensed ECE Educators qualify for a $4 an hour wage enhancement government increase on top of base salary.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $22.00-$26.00 per hour

• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• ECE or ECEA license; or Responsible Adult Certificate (required)
