As the People Experience Coordinator , you work in partnership with the Care Designer team to lead the recruitment, selection, hiring and onboarding of the BEST Caregivers to deliver premium care to our Clients. You ensure that all people systems and initiatives are executed according to Nurse Next Door’s operating model, purpose of Making Lives Better, core values and brand. You bring our purpose and values to life on a daily basis.

The People Experience Coordinator role is essential in meeting our business goals by ensuring that we have the exceptional and passionate Caregivers to meet our current and future client needs in order to grow the business. You show care by engaging in intentional, compassionate conversations to help others achieve their fullest potential. As the People Experience Coordinator , you drive results by:

  • Follow the Nurse Next Door people recruitment system to lead all aspects of recruitment and building a solid people pipeline
  • Proactively develop community relationships to drive a strong Caregiver referral network through employment centers, local nursing colleges and other avenues
  • Collaborate effectively with Care Designers to match Caregivers to Clients to deliver on our Brand Promise of the perfect match
  • Ensure staff to client ratio is 1.5 to 1 in order to deliver continuity of care and enable zero cancellations on client’s visits due to lack of available staff
  • Oversee administrative policies, procedures and practices to be in compliance with employment standards and Nurse Next Door requirements; be the expert in your local market
  • Coordinate and lead Nurse Next Door Discovery Day, caregiver training, and ensure Caregivers are proficient in the use of all Nurse Next Door apps and systems
  • Coach and mentor new team members using radical candor to help them grow and thrive - while delivering on our people promise..
  • Lead, implement and ensure 100% adoption of new People programs and special projects as directed
  • Champion employee engagement, growth and development opportunities in line with the Year of the Caregiver initiatives
  • Build relationships with existing employees to understand career goals and support with identifying a future career roadmap
  • Manage the end-of-employment process
  • Work in partnership with the General Manager, Care Designer, and Care Ambassador, and Sales and Marketing Coordinator to achieve organizational goals

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • Entrepreneurial drive and desire to always exceed expectations in relation to key performance indicators (KPIs) and stretch goals
  • Experience recruiting A-Players in a high volume (10+ staff per month) and fast growth environment in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum three years progressive HR management experience with hands on experience with recruitment and hiring. Home health care experience preferred.
  • Intentional organization, planning, time management and multitasking skills
  • Must be organized and have exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in G-Suite: Gmail, drive, docs, calendar
  • Experience using Indeed and Hireology preferred
  • Fluency in other languages other than English considered an asset
  • Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)

Compensation : $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year + Extended Health Benefits
