The GrandWay Lounge and Events Centre have exciting new part-time and full-time opportunities: LINE COOKS

The Line Cooks will be responsible for the preparation of high-quality North American Cuisine to support our new Lounge and Events Centre. The Line Cooks will work as a supportive team member in a high energy, friendly workplace while following all safety and sanitary procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
Follows portion controls, and presentation specifications as set.
Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
Prepare all grilled items using flat top grill.
Prepare food using the commercial fryer.
Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
Assist in banquet preparations when required and assist with other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Food Handlers Certification a must
minimum of 2 years prior kitchen line cook experience
knowledge of kitchen equipment such commercial fryer, deep fryer, convection oven and BBQ
Enthusiastically work with co-workers in a cooperative and supportive manner
Proactive and highly motivated
Available to work noon to late evening, weekends and holidays with flexible work schedules
