Manufacturing Technician

To meet the growing demand for our product we’re currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician. In this position you will ensure smooth manufacturing processes and prompt improvements through change requests and process improvements.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

• Continuously work with production to improve the product by making part improvements using the Change Request System.
• Look to improve the assembly processes by increasing safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain accurate models, drawings, and BOMs using best practices.
• Act on/resolve production issues quickly.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with many departments
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Strong understanding and appreciation of lean principles
• Experience with design tools such as Autodesk Inventor (or similar 3D CAD system)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• A hands-on and team-focused work style
• Fluency in Microsoft Office products
• A diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering Technology (completed or in progress) would be considered an asset
