We are known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.To provide the plant with a high level of Electrical expertise that ensures the company objectives are supported, maintenance goals are efficiently and effectively met, and departmental downtime goals and preventative maintenance schedules are achieved. To carry out equipment and building repairs as required, while adhering to quality, safety, food safety, and legislative standards and guidelines.Duties and Responsibilities:Installs maintains, and repairs all mechanical and electrical systems and all machinery at the plant.Provide support to production in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.Complies with all necessary manufacturing codes, regulations, and standards GMP, HACCP, WHIMIS, MSDS etc.Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration activities. Maintain an updated record of PM.Identify opportunities to continuously improve maintenance operations Actively promote health and safety in the workplace.Completes Maintenance reports and logs as required.Perform predial electrical installation when required as per the Canadian Electrical Code.Able to perform repair, replacement, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in the following items: tubing, fittings and air supply, pressure devises, level switch, temperature sensor, flow meters, regulators and valves, machinery lubrication, alignment of machinery, power drives, identify machine components, water pumps, pneumatic systems, hydraulic system, vacuum systems, fans and blowers, select pipes, valves and fittings, control system (sensor, limit switch, PLC reading input/output feedback), compressors, all filters, belts, bearings, gear box, chains, welding.Microsoft Excel: Create spreadsheet, print, etc.Microsoft Word: Know how to write a report, create PDFs, attached pictures, format the file, print, etc.CMMS System: create work orders, update the system, close work orders, etcEmail: create and manage emails.Knowledge & Background Requirements:Must have an Interprovincial Industrial Red Seal Electrical Trade ticket .Preferably electrical experience in a food manufacturing environment.Strong preventive and maintenance and troubleshooting ability.Strong working knowledge of plumbing and machining.Must be flexible in terms of shift work .Great Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code Book.Great troubleshoot skills in PLC, VFDs and Motor control circuit.Skills Required:Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
