Field Assistant Administrator

The Opportunity : The senior Field Administrator, reporting to the Field Admin Supervisor, is responsible for auditing and adjusting the field hourly payroll hours and administration of fleet units including spring/fall unit change outs. The role works closely with the Field Administrative Supervisor to supervise the administration team and provide coverage where required.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Verify a large volume of electronic data with a high level of accuracy
  • Process payroll in UKG
  • Respond to payroll changes, verifications, schedule changes & updates
  • Manage fleet vehicles and reconcile vehicle taxable benefits
  • Communicate via telephone to both internal and external individuals
  • Process and/or assign invoices in Accounts Payable using Open Invoice and E1
  • Interview, mentor and train new or junior personnel on the team
  • Other office duties as required
  • Maintain a confidential and professional work acumen at all times

  • Job location: Wolf Lake Administration Office
  • Shift Schedule: 5X2 - Rotation beginning Monday
  • Must live in the local area of Bonnyville/Cold Lake. This is not a camp based positon
  • Eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Regular Policy

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of related industry experience with High School or GED education

  • Formal office administrative training an asset

  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification an asset

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license is required

  • Familiarity with and understanding of:

  • Working with payables/bookkeeping

  • Data entry and working with Microsoft Excel

  • Multi-tasking and organization
