Job Summary: The Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a team of 30 employees in our metal manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to facilitate and support the production team. This role requires engaging with senior team members to continually improve processes and ensure production goals are met efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Oversee the daily activities of a 30-member production team.Ensure team adherence to production schedules and quality standards.Provide clear instructions, training, and support to team members.Foster a positive and productive work environment. Attention to Detail: Monitor production processes to ensure precision and quality.Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards.Identify and address any deviations or issues promptly. Willingness to Learn: Engage in continuous learning and professional development.Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.Actively seek feedback and implement improvements. Facilitation and Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.Provide hands-on support and guidance as needed. Engagement with Senior Team Members: Communicate regularly with senior management to align production goals.Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.Implement directives from senior management effectively. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and regulations.Conduct regular safety training and drills.Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal manufacturing.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
