Your new role You will be responsible for preparation of multi-provincial semi-monthly payroll for 500+ employees, reporting, and benefits. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our team receives accurate and timely payroll. You'll leverage your expertise in multi-provincial payroll to manage a complex system, collaborate effectively with various departments, and maintain compliance with regulations. This is a 12 month contract with the potential to go full time permanent.What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-provincial payroll processing in Canada. A background in accounting and/or finance is preferred, but not mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is essential. Post-secondary education in accounting and/or finance is required. Expertise with UKG software and experience with new Payroll/HR system implementation are considered an asset. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.Valid Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is required.Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal and credit background check.What’s In It for You?
