Responsibilities • Provide oversight and implementation support for digital technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards. • Collaborate with HLBC operational and clinical teams to identify operational and clinical needs and guide the integration of digital technologies into new care delivery models. • Lead the implementation of digital health solutions by providing consultation on technical and operational/clinical impacts. • Develop and implement roadmaps and contribute to the program plan for all digital technology initiatives. • Coordinate and prioritize tasks and resources to ensure project milestones are met. • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to maintain alignment with goals and deadlines. • Provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and direction to succeed. • Provide guidance on the adoption and integration of digital health solutions, leading implementation strategies and performance evaluation. • Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. • Manage project budgets and resources effectively, making decisions to optimize efficiency and minimize risks. • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners. • Develop long-term sustainability plans for digital technology projects, considering factors such as scalability, maintenance, and user adoption. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and innovation. • Implement processes and tools to measure and track the impact of digital technology solutions over time. • Provide recommendations for adjustments and enhancements to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness. • Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. • Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the project team. • Inspire and motivate project teams to achieve high performance and excellence. • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing. • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all interactions. • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and capabilities. • Influence stakeholders and decision-makers to support project objectives and priorities • Serve as a mentor for continuous learning and collaborate with leaders and providers to enhance organizational capacity for digital health. • Monitor emerging trends in digital health, maintain knowledge of industry developments, and advise on the implementation of standards, tools, and processes. Qualifications • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline • Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in managing complex digital technology (or transformation) projects from initiation to completion. • Experience working within the BC Health Sector is highly preferred. • The ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment is necessary. • Strong forward thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in layman’s terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholders groups • Strong facilitation skills for decisions to be made swiftly. • Able to work expeditiously as an individual contributor and as a team member. • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks. • Working knowledge and experience with agile as well as waterfall project management concepts practices, and deliverables • Experience working with clinical and technical stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse groups of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical individuals. • Experience working on a transformational change project. • Detailed oriented to ensure project decisions and changes are documented and communicated as appropriate. • Project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, CSM, PMI-ACP), or equivalent credentials are nice to have.
