We are committed to enabling the safe and secure reuse of electronics, responsible recycling of electronics to divert waste from landfills, and recovery of natural resources from obsolete electronics.Quantum is in search for a bi-lingual Operations Manager to lead our Coquitlam location. The Operations Manager will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the daily operations through leadership and overall administration of plant operations. This Leader will oversee staffing, production and oversee the development and direction of the team to drive the growth of production, revenue and the quality of goods produced in the facility. The Operations Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors, managers and ensuring the integration of strategic plans within the facilities. Customer focus, communication energy, teamwork, quality orientation and team management are key.Your responsibility also includes:Actively manage employees to ensure adequate training, skills and abilities are demonstrated regularly and consistently, working with Leaders and Compliance to initiate actions for improvement when deficiencies are identified and fostering teamwork.Overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of production processes, equipment, and tools, including ensuring required inspections, preventative maintenance and housekeeping are achieved and maintained at required standards.Review and approve plans for the planned output, budget spending, material efficiency, and engineering effectiveness.Monitor financial performance to ensure the facility is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment. Analyze and report on the plant's daily, monthly and annual key performance indicators. Support to budget preparation and monitoring of financials. Develop and implement strategies around improving the financial performance of the facility.Responsible for appropriate staff levels to meet requirements of the facility including recruitment, hiring, terminations and performance management with keeping morale by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers in the facility.Compile data from Quantum systems to generate the month end inventory report to maintain and ensure a record of all supplies and inventory information and to whom those supplies have been issued to is distributed in a proper manner to appropriate personnel, to be the inventory control lead for monthly and year end counts by keeping track of Inventory including changes made to inventory location and location layout. Ensuring that inventory levels are properly managed, and customer requirements are met in a timely mannerReview reports (e.g. inventory, production and daily reports) to determine the operational activities of the company and ensure optimum performance. Update work orders with appropriate information to provide information more quickly and easily to customers. Measure and monitor key production and customer service areas.
