Front Desk SupervisorJob Overview As a Front Desk Supervisor your commitment to guest service and providing mentorship to the front desk team plays a key role in our ability to accomplish our goals! Essential Job Duties:

  • Extend high levels of Service to guests and visitors
  • Handle guest queries and concerns professionally, efficiently and courteously
  • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to Front End staff
  • Monitor the daily performance of Front Office and assist where necessary
  • Promote and maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Trouble shoot and process corrections to invoices and billings
  • Review and complete daily, weekly, monthly reports
  • Balance floats and prepare bank deposit
  • Prepare work schedules in accordance with labour standards and business needs
  • Update and maintain employee time records; submit hours to payroll
  • Monitor and enforce Dress Code and grooming standards
  • Communicate special handling of group arrivals and special needs to the team
  • Follow Occupational Health & Safety & Emergency policies and procedures
  • Revenue and room management knowledge and experience
  • Participate in the Employee Performance Review process
  • Order and maintain stationary supplies
  • Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Standing for extended periods; ability to sit, crouch, twist, reach, bend and lift up to 25lbs occasionally.

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education in the Hospitality or related field is an asset
  • Proven leadership/supervisory skills is required, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management System software is required.

Job Type : Part-time Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary : $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift

Experience :

  • Customer service: 4 years (preferred)
  • Hotel: 3 years (preferred)
