Position Overview : United Canada Inc. is currently looking for a Warehouse Operator who will be overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving and sending shipments, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse, conducting inventory checks and ensuring inventory is stored according to storage requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Acknowledging and processing incoming orders via our various sales channels, including our website
  • Picking and packaging orders, printing shipping labels and preparing orders for shipment
  • Receiving incoming shipments from suppliers, stocking them appropriately in the warehouse and making sure to pay attention to any specific storage requirements
  • Accurately updating inventory information in the company software
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and safe warehouse at all times
  • Assisting with local deliveries from time to time
  • Processing customer payments and issuing refunds from time to time
  • Informing the purchasing team of any out-of-stock items in a timely manner
  • Building product knowledge to ensure the correct items are being sent to our customers and you’re able to effectively answer any product inquiries they may have
  • Assist any walk-in customers with order pickups, in-store purchases, product inquiries etc.
  • Liaise with shipping companies to resolve any issues that may arise with shipments
  • Working with the rest of the CS team to resolve customer complaints and requests
  • Maintain records of completed shipments and resolved customer complaints as per the companies procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs without supervision, and up to 90lbs with assistance
  • Organized and efficient
  • Knowledge of FIFO inventory management an asset
  • Able to multitask
  • Comfortable with using computers and good with learning new technologies

Education :

  • Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid G drivers license.

Experience :

  • 1 year experience in a warehouse/fulfilment environment
  • 1 year experience working in customer service

Working Conditions :

  • In office full time

Position Type :

  • Full-Time, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
