Day shift (7:30am-4:30pm) and afternoon shift (4:30pm-1:00am).
Galaxy Pallets (1998) Inc. is a manufacturer of pallets, specialty box items and flower racks.
The company is a family run business which has a cutting facility and production facility with room to grow
We offer a competitive wage of $19.35/hr base with piece work opportunities which on average our nailers make $22-$30/hr. Benefits are offered after 3 months.
Job duties include:
- Cleaning up worksites from debris and machinery
- Stacking materials from machines onto skids
- Handling and transporting materials
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Interpret work orders assigned for jobs
- Ability to follow instructions from immediate supervisor
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high
- Use of small hand tools such as nail guns to assist in production of product
Responsibilities :
- Clean up worksites from debris during and at end of shift
- Assist machine operators when required
- Handle and transport cut wood from machines to skids/work tables
- Proper and safe use of nail guns and small power tools
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Wear proper PPE at all times
- Work in a safe manner and abide by all safety rules
- Only operate machinery you are qualified on
