Are you passionate about coffee, food, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? Good Earth Coffeehouse in Airdrie is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making someone’s day a little bet, want to meet you!

Responsibilities :

• Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each guest has a positive experience.
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee, tea, and smoothies.
• Prep and serve food choices, including paninis, salads, and desserts.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffeehouse.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling and preparing food items.
• Prepare and serve food, such as baking pastries or assembling sandwiches.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and brewing techniques.
• Suggestive sell additional products or specials to customers.
• Support other team members by covering shifts when needed and taking proactive steps to improve daily operations.

Skills :

• Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is an asset, but not required.
• Strong communications skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
• Flexibility in availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Store Hours: Monday to Friday - 7am to 8pm, Weekends - 8am to 7pm.

As a barista, you will eventually be trained as a foodista who makes the food for the coffeehouse

Pay: $15.00 per hour
