MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager for the interiors division for our client one of the fastest growing and most exciting construction companies in Canada.The Project Manager will be a collaborative self-starter who will be responsible for leading diverse teams and project stakeholders to ensure the success of various complex tenant improvement projects across the Lower Mainland.Responsibilities:Exhibit leadership in ensuring health, safety, and environmental protection measures are prioritized across all project activities.Implement the guidelines outlined in the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to ensure adherence to company HS&E standards, relevant OH&S regulations, and codes among both employees and subcontractors involved in the project.Verify that projects adhere to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while upholding standards of quality.Collaborate with the project team to establish and maintain construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines; provide clear guidance to team members to ensure objectives are met.Facilitate regular project meetings involving internal and external stakeholders to monitor project progress and provide necessary support.Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential opportunities and risks, striving to optimize project schedule and financial objectives.Monitor and report on the financial aspects of projects, including forecasts and billing procedures.Oversee the procurement process, involving negotiations and awarding of contracts to subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.Requirements:5+ years of experience in tenant improvement construction management or combination of relevant education and experienceComprehensive knowledge of construction processes, including documentation, drawings, specifications, and current practices Ability to create and manage a construction project scheduleExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs, and proactively identify solutionsA certificate, diploma or University Degree an asset_________________________ About MatchBoxHeadquartered in downtown Vancouver and serving clients nationally, MatchBox is one of the leading recruitment and solutions firms that specializes in the fields of IT & Technology, Engineering & Technical, Real Estate & Construction, and Accounting & Finance.
