Our mission is to understand and align with the priorities and goals of our clients and candidates, creating real connections forged by people.Role DescriptionPlan, organize, and oversee maintenance and upgrade projects for plant equipment and machinery.Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget for equipment upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning.Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams to ensure project objectives are met.Select and manage contractors for maintenance and upgrade projects, including bidding processes and contract negotiations.Facilitate communication between contractors and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth project executionOversee routine and preventive maintenance activities for plant equipment, including valves, compressors, and boilers.Evaluate and recommend improvements to maintenance practices and processes.Plan and execute decommissioning of outdated or obsolete equipment, ensuring safe and compliant removal.Ensure all maintenance and upgrade activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as an Industrial Project Manager with a focus on maintenance and equipment upgrades.Project Management, Project Planning, and Budgeting skillsExperience in managing contractors and overseeing maintenance activities in an industrial setting.Strong Communication skillsExperience in industrial project managementAbility to work on-site in Oshawa, ONDetail-oriented mindset and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field
