Responsibilities :

  • Create, test, and deploy software solutions that address business needs.
  • Assist users with incident management, resolve system issues, and serve as the primary contact with vendors.
  • Provide expert advice and work with cross-functional teams for successful solution delivery.
  • Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of solutions and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Help develop, review, and maintain organizational standards and templates to enhance consistency and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior team members to support their growth and development.

Education, Qualifications, and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • ITIL Foundations Certificate, PMP or PRINCE2 accreditation is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of five (5) years directly related working experience in the area of Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, Enterprise computing environment.
  • Proven experience in administering or using a relational database such as Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in business process optimization and the development of data integration and data interoperability.
  • Must possess an Alberta Driver’s License and use own vehicle for work purposes.

  • A high level of expertise in technical and analytical skills.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills to work and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work well independently and thrive in a team environment.
  • Excellent ability to assess and evaluate options creatively to achieve optimal outcomes and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of civil infrastructure and asset management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently and manage imminent deadlines.
