We are now looking to enhance our team by adding a talented individual to the inside sales team someone who shares our passion in working towards a common mission.

This is an on-site, short-term contract that may lead to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Use your experience to delight our customers. Deliver timely responses to our customers so that they achieve success.
  • Data entry using our cloud-based ERP/CMS (NetSuite) system to create new customer files, record inquiries, check inventory, and coordinate sales activities.
  • Process sales orders from customer inquiries to order confirmation and follow-up on customer needs.
  • Read and interpret spec sheets and technical drawings as needed from customer inquiries.
  • Handle situations where warranty, repair, maintenance, lost or late shipments, and other similar events need additional attention.
  • Engage and nurture warm leads with a focus on personalization and understanding the needs of the customer.
  • Continuously analyze and report on sales performance, using data to drive strategic decisions and improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure our product and service is meeting the needs of our customers, identify pain points, propose solutions, and advocate for customers with the Product Team.
  • Actively manage and grow accounts to continue our year-on-year growth.
  • Assist in setting, delivering, and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual Revenue targets, through multiple online channels and a steady stream of phone calls.
  • You understand KPI’s. You set high targets. You achieve what you set out to achieve.
  • Always be ready to assist and support in other duties that may be assigned. Duties and Responsibilities will change from time to time. A reasonable amount of adaptability and flexibility will always be required.
  • Ensure all inquiries are addressed completely and perform all transactions necessary to support the quotation and order fulfillment processes.
  • Demonstrate technical initiative in identifying and resolving customer needs; make outbound calls on warm internet leads.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements :

  • Strong data entry & computer skills (CRM, ERP, NetSuite would be an asset).
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience as inside sales rep is preferred with administration, order desk, sales, or customer service. (B2B is a Plus+).
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; solid phone presence and experience in closing business.
  • You'll need to have some flexibility to occasionally swap/float stat holidays to accommodate our US customer's needs.
  • Mechanical aptitude. You can visualize how parts and products can fit together. Can you put together Ikea furniture without a spare bolt?
  • A diploma, certificate, and/or training in sales, business, communications, or related disciplines would be an asset.
