Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Journeyman Crane Operator you will be will be expected to start ASAP and on a 5/2 (First Week) and then 4/3 (Second Week) rotation. This position will perform Crane Operator duties in the Rocky Mountain House area.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

  • High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety (his/her own and others)
  • Journeyman Mobile Crane(60t RT) & Hoisting Equipment Operator and/or Boom Truck Certification(25t)
  • Class 1 operating license with Air Brake Certification
  • Able to meet requirements of the Physical Demands Analysis (see attached)
  • Maintain relations with clients and co-workers through effective interpersonal skills
  • Comply with all Quinn and client safety policies and procedures
  • High degree of coordination and manual dexterity is required
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Pre-Access testing required
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • CSTS 2020
  • First Aid
  • H2S Alive

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate hoisting and swinging equipment within plant sites and/or remote locations
  • Operate mobile crane up to 40 tons and/or boom truck up to 18 tons
  • Effectively communicate with ground crews using hand and voice communication signals
  • Ensure all applicable policies, procedures and best practices are followed & documented
  • Load, transport and unload equipment and material, to and from location
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment as required
  • Ensure equipment is operated & maintained to maximum productivity & efficiency
  • Ensure operation, interval maintenance, and engineering standards are followed
  • Provide various hotshots of tools, equipment and material to field technicians as required
  • Other tasks as assigned

Salary : From $43.26 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
