About the Opportunity

Eagle Builders is looking to add a Junior Precast Detailer to join our dedicated team in Blackfalds, AB on a full-time, permanent basis, to contribute their above average attention to detail, and concern for the exact correctness of work and a strong commitment to tasks completed on time.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Creating detailed drawings for precast erection and fabrication shop crews.
  • Checking drawings for accuracy and clarity.
  • Precast modeling and detailing from both in-house designed and externally provided packages.
  • Developing fabrication packages including erection drawings, assembly drawings, and shop-drawings through 3D modeling and drafting using Revit software.
  • Upholding drafting standards and ensuring correct details of the project are accounted for and carried through to completion.
  • Provide detailed concepts for structural connection designs and precast concrete features.
  • Effective communication with management, project managers, and team members.

The Assets

  • Familiar with construction terms and processes.
  • Experience working with precast concrete systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of interpreting and producing shop drawings.

The Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Deadline driven with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to learn and retain new skills in a timely matter.
  • Ability to overcome challenges while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate to central Alberta. : The Benefits
