The Role Our recruitment team is currently working with one of the leading distributors in Canada. The Delta branch is currently seeking a Business IT Project Assistant to support with creating SOPs, BI report requirements, and ERP training materials, support IT Projects, and facilitate business processes for the warehousing, sales, and shipping teams.This position covers shift times fully on-site from 8:00 . to 4:30 . Monday to Friday.Responsibilities Partner with departments to develop and maintain clear and effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that enhance operational efficiency.Create and update training materials for ERP systems to ensure user understanding and effectiveness. Conduct training sessions on ERP systems and company processes for smooth employee onboarding.Assist IT project managers by coordinating tasks, monitoring project progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and define requirements for business intelligence (BI) reports, delivering precise and actionable insights.Support business functions such as sales, purchasing, and shipping to help achieve operational success.Produce and manage detailed documentation using MS Office tools, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Contribute to team success by providing support as needed and helping colleagues meet their objectives.Requirements 2+ years of experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of business processes related to sales, warehouse processing, and shipping.Proven experience in creating SOPs and developing training materials, particularly for ERP systems.Experience in supporting IT projects and defining BI report requirements.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong organizational skills, with a proven record of meeting deadlines on time.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and collaborate effectively.Hardworking, with a passion for continuous learning and helping others succeed.Ability to adapt to new ideas, work collaboratively, and support team goals.Training experience is a plus.Compensation 100% Company-paid benefits package, including Extended Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, and VisionTaxable Spending Account, $300 to use towards anything related to your health & wellnessOvertime premiums availableEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramDiscretionary bonus at the end of every year2 week vacation available for use in the first year; 3 weeks on your second anniversaryUp to 6 personal days4% RRSP matching program after 3 monthsOn-site parkingA strong team environment #INDSTRIVE3 #LI-SR
