The motto of our company is “Delivered as Promise”. Job Description : The Ocean Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing customer experiences in international ocean freight. Reporting to the Ocean Freight Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the shipping process to ensure efficient, effective, and result-based shipping solutions. The Ocean Logistics Coordinator will maintain daily communication with clients and vendors, fostering strong relationships to ensure exceptional service delivery. Major position accountabilities: Customer Experience Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service to key accounts, responding to rate quotations, bookings, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Offer effective shipping solutions that align with clients' specific needs, delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the shipping cycle. Key Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts acting as the primary point of contact Maintain positive relationship with ocean carriers and various vendors. Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving requirements and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided. Efficient Order Fulfillment: Oversee the shipping cycle Export: from rate quotation to handing off to Document Team Import: from rate quotation to cargo delivery or per Incoterms of shipment Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations. Issue Resolution: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the shipping process with professionalism and a proactive approach to find effective solutions. Communicate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent future occurrences. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain consistent and effective communication with key accounts, overseas agents, ocean carriers, and service providers to ensure transparency and smooth operations. Work closely with our overseas agents, keeping them informed of shipment progress and coordinating their involvement in the shipping process. Requirements: Bachelor degree or diploma is required. 2 years of experience and knowledge of International Ocean Freight Experience and knowledge of International Ocean Exports is an asset. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written Proficient computer skills; Microsoft office, email, internet explorer and ability to learn proprietary business software applications Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet numerous deadlines. Positive attitude, friendly, outgoing personality. Willingness to learn and ask questions. Familiarization with shipping hazardous material preferred, but not required.
