Responsibilities :

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
  • Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and preparing dishes according to established standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers
  • Ensure food is cooked properly and presented in an appealing manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
