Learn more about us at . As a Member Experience Specialist, you will play a vital role in developing member-first advisory relationships. You will be responsible for on-boarding traditionally sourced and omni-channel retail and business members, uncovering member needs, and introducing our solutions to them. This is a mutual funds sales development role; you will be managing small accounts and providing general transactional support. You will also be involved in providing access to day-to-day, lending and investing products and services including unsecured lending, mortgage renewals, broker mortgage onboarding, term deposits, and Visa products.What you'll do: Onboard and initiate relationship conversations and introductions with our new retail and business membersDevelop and advance member relationships through the utilization of Financial Health Checks, pipeline management, and effective referrals to the Relationship Manager and Line of Business SpecialistsHave primary advice center (AC) responsibility for opening new business accounts, and business change of signing officer requestsSupport our member access to lending products by producing small unsecured lending products, completing broker mortgage sign-ups and mortgage renewalsSupport our Member Service Specialists by completing front line transactions as neededProvide omni-channel support for the Member Service Centre by supporting member calls as needed What you bring: Grade 12 (or equivalent)Business Administration or Marketing diploma or degree (an asset)1-3 years of experience working in a financial services environment with exposure to lending and investment products, identifying member needs, advisingExperience or knowledge with mutual funds (preferred)Licensed to sell mutual funds or the willingness to be licensed within 12 monthsPrevious experience working in a professional sales environmentProven financial acumen and knowledge of financial products, services and retail lendingDemonstrated ability to confidently provide advice in a variety of member situationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and organized and the ability to manage prioritiesProficient with technology and systems Our ValuesCultivate trusting relationships: We are local at heart, aligned in our purpose to help our members, communities, and team thrive.Empower and enable others: We give each other the space, trust, and tools to succeed.Lead with curiosity: We approach all circumstances with curiosity and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.Embrace change and execute with purpose: We plan with agility, take action, and pivot to deliver results.Thrive as One Team: We collaborate because it strengthens us.What’s in it for you?
