The best part is that you will work with people that care passionately about you, our clients, and our communities.Working with the Senior Policyholder Tax Analyst, the role will support our internal and external clients in all areas relating to policyholder tax.The individual will support the administration of the policyholder tax functions within CLIC Individual Insurance and Wealth Management. This includes the production of all tax slips, reporting to CRA and Revenue Quebec. Under the guidance of the Senior Policyholder Tax Analyst they will provide guidance for business process, tax related questions and acting as subject matter expert for all tax related items. How you will create impact: You will analyze, solution, plan and monitor work in progress to ensure timely delivery and quality output.You will act as an escalation point to assist with the resolution of highly complex issues.You will coach and mentor the Policyholder Tax team, providing input to the manager for training and development opportunities.You will lead development and issuance of tax slips and CRA filings to support T4A, T5, T4RSP, T4RIF, T3, RL16, RL2, RL3, RRSP, NR4, TFSA, NR4, T550, RL1.Understand, document, and communicate relevant legislation to appropriate stakeholders.You will work with Project Delivery Team to prioritize and implement mandatory tax changes.You will document and analyse current system processes to identify efficiencies on a continuous basis.You will lead internal audits request for information and resolution of audit issues.
