We AIM for excellence.What we offer!Competitive salary + other perksGroup insurance & RRSP programCompany-wide events throughout the year (BBQ, Holiday party etc.) Free gym on siteTwo cafeterias on site (subsidized meal program available)Dynamic & rewarding work environment- work on high-impact, meaningful projects while also having fun!Job DescriptionReporting to the VP Global Non-Ferrous Trading, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for administratively and professionally supporting the VP Global Non-Ferrous and the Non-Ferrous Trading team in the delivery of its administrative functions by carrying out all the clerical duties and coordinating various activities.Maintain paper and electronic filling system, ensuring department’s documents are properly stored;Arrange meetings, appointments, and travel plans;Coordinate calendars/appointments and send out meeting requests and reminders;Complete, track expenses and submit expense reports;Greet and assist visitors, providing them with information or assistance, and ensure they are directed to the appropriate internal customer or team member;Participate in various projects in collaboration with the Trade team which may involve compiling data, preparing reports or presentations;Fill in with Trade Support as needed;Produce ad hoc reports, according to different requests;Perform all other related tasks.QualificationsCollege certificate (AEC or DEC) or a similar academic training;Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an administrative support role to senior managementExperience in the manufacturing industry (an asset);Must be bilingual (French and English);Wiling to work under pressure and have a sense of priorities;Autonomy, resourcefulness, productivity and adaptability;Attention to deadlines, professional and discretion;Master Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate Level in Excel).Additional InformationAmerican Iron & Metal and its subsidiaries is an equal opportunity employer.
