Duties and Responsibilities : working within a management team the applicant will oversee the child care services, including direct service provision and day to day supervision of children and child care workers.

  • Inform child care workers of policies and procedures in relation to good practice and encourage and promote adherence to all licensing regulations.
  • Liaise with parents on a regular basis regarding the ongoing progress and development of their children
  • must have experience in developing and updating policies and procedures in regards to children, families, safety and human resources

Work Experience : two years experience in a supervisory or management position in a large group child care facility

Education : current BC ECE license to practice; not suitable for an ECE Asst.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary : $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education :

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience :

  • Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
