Day-to-DayWork with established clients to determine their needs. This can include formal requests for quotations for repair or capital work.Work directly with experienced division personnel, the technical service and engineering departments to determine the specification the company will offer for a particular application.Coordinate with the estimating department, construction division (as required), and divisional personnel to develop a job estimate.Work with divisional personnel to prepare and issue proposals. Correspond with customers about the proposal to more suitably define the scope and price, with the goal of obtaining a contract.Make job site/customer visits to obtain information required for pricing work, including schedule and services to be provided and to observe client equipment to determine the need for maintenance.Execute projects utilizing corporate services, including the engineering department, purchasing department, and other operations groups, as well as the construction department for larger jobs.Ensure the project is going well and within budget, quality is maintained, and all safety procedures are being followed.Develop a positive relationship with and actively seek work with our customers.Other tasks as assigned.Additional SkillsSkilled in using MS project, Word, Excel and Word Proficiency in preparing comprehensive reports Experience managing project finances from budge breakdown to cost and revenue tracking, invoicing, and recovery. Developing and implementing Health, Safety and Environmental programs on projects. Reviewing and establishing MSAs. Able to develop and maintain good relationship with clients and stakeholdersWorker will be travelling outside of Ottawa for work – mostly Eastern Canada. Asset: Safety trainings such as working at height, confined space, scaffold user, fit test, etc.…Comfortable in enclosed and/or high spaces
