Maintenance Millwright

Job Summary: Our company offers a $3,000.00 sign on bonus for this position plus other incentives if you come join our team!!! Compensation: $36.10 CAD per hour Shift: Continental - Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday / Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (204) area code. Please note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement. Principal Accountabilities: Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment safely while abiding by all policies & procedures. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Follow company policies (performance, safety, etc.). Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. Perform administrative tasks including completing permits, parts ordering, and work order completion. Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Must be legally entitled to work for our company in Canada. The company requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old. Must be able to perform physical job duties including lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and open/close valves. Ability to work in elevated areas (4feet and above) Ability to communicate in English (Verbal and Written) High School diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts. Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold. Ability to operate machinery and/or Industrial equipment Be in your 2nd year or higher of your Millwright apprenticeship. Ontario or Inter-Provincial 433A Millwright Certificate (Full License) Preferred Qualifications: Basic food safety knowledge Knowledge of CFIA requirements for food manufacturing. Experience in production related work Forklift Certified Inventory Systems knowledge
