Department: Commercial – Operational Solutions Reports to: Manager, Global Retail Calendar and Communications Location: NorthVancouver, BC Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Program Manager, Retail Calendar, you will oversee the annual, quarterly, and in-year Retail Calendar process, collaborating closely with HQ partners to ensure alignment with broader business objectives. You will provide insight and a retail perspective on how projects, events, and holidays will impact our store fleet globally and across time zones. By filtering and prioritizing initiatives through the Retail Calendar process you will minimize disruption to stores and provide key inputs and data to support labour needs. Through effective communication and coordination, you will create, manage, update, and disseminate calendar information to our global fleet and support in strategically communicating the right information at the right time to stores. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. If you were the Program Manager, Retail Calendar now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Leading meetings with senior leaders and cross-functional partners on retail initiatives and rollout timingStrategically filtering and prioritizing initiatives through the Retail Calendar process to mitigate impact to stores.Overseeing and evolving the annual, quarterly, and in-year Retail Calendar process with HQ partnersCollaborating with the Retail Strategic Initiatives and FP&A teams to develop key inputs and data to support in modelling our future labour needs based on the Retail CalendarCreating, managing, updating, and sending invites and calendar information to our global fleetPartnering across the retail calendar and communications team to strategically plan and deliver communications at the right time to stores based on the Retail Calendar Presenting to key leaders across the company on project progress, risks, issues, actions, and decisions requiredManaging key retail stakeholders and consulting partiesHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Implementing and/or evolving the retail calendar to our global markets in NAM, EMEA, and APACSupporting the calendar integration into the intranet and communication technology platformsManaging and executing the strategy for multiple projects and initiatives with overlapping timelines as new priorities are added to the business objectives.Are you our next Program Manager, Retail Calendar? You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Business, Communications, or a related fieldYou have 5+ years’ experience in a retail operations role focussed on initiative planning and retail calendar, or equivalent roleYou have a deep understanding of retail operations, processes, and challenges that impact global retail employeesYou are proficient in customizing and optimizing retail calendar systems and project management tools, such as Unily, Zipline, SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc., preferably within a vertical retail environmentYou have proven experience in creating and executing project plans, managing timelines, and driving internal engagementYou have effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersYou seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is rightYour passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it$91,000 - $114,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is $91,000- $114,000 CAD at the time of this posting.
