We are a growing organization and currently looking for a passionate and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our winning team.

The human resources (HR) coordinator is a professional who completes administrative duties supporting the team and company in all aspects of Human Resources, Labour Relations, and Recruitment. Assisting with recruitment, employee records, and provide administrative support to all employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the day to day administration of Human Resources activities

  • Maintain reports and tracking of a variety of initiatives within the HR function

  • Develop and maintain resource material and information

  • Resolve minor employee issues in conjunction with the HR team

  • Ensure the orientation and documentation for all workers for required training, testing and confirmation of background/experience are maintained

  • Tracking all valid work visa & SIN expiry - send notification for approved documents and instructions for termination if not in compliance

  • Conduct exit interviews, where applicable, for all terminating employees.

  • Liaise with Managers to ensure employee documentation (personnel, medical, training) files are maintained - conduct bi-annual audits as required to ensure compliance

  • Maintain a productive working environment by:

  • Promoting good communication and co-operation

  • Maintaining positive habits and attitudes

  • Create and maintain an atmosphere in the plant which foster and “open door” policy to improve employee communication and satisfaction

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resource Management or other relevant degree supplemented by post-graduate HR diploma
  • Completion of or working towards CHRP would be considered an asset
  • 1-2 year’s relevant HR/Recruitment administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Very strong writing, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet all deadlines
  • Professional and friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • Self-directed and independent, but also experienced in working effectively as a member of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven data analytic and problem-solving skills. Able to deal with ambiguity and problem solve to achieve best outcome.
