Tandia Financial Credit Union (Tandia) is seeking an experienced Financial Services Representative to join our team in Brantford. The work hours will be considered full-time which means 35.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your Work at a Glance
In this role, you will be a vital part of our team. The Financial Services Representative is the primary resource for actively soliciting new sales opportunities (loans, mortgages, lines of credit) and by following up on referrals and identifying target areas; subsequent interactions to capitalize on growth opportunities and meet sales goals. The FSR is an integral part of growing our business and increasing our membership.
With your knowledge you will also be able to effectively up-sell and cross-sell Tandia’s on-book investment options (GICs/Term Deposits). For more comprehensive financial planning needs, you’ll be able to spot the opportunity and refer the member to our Wealth Management team

We are looking for someone who
- Has proven ability in member service and selling
- Has previous credit underwriting experience and a background in lending
- Has an in-depth knowledge of investments (GICs/Term Deposits), including Registered plans
- Is skilled at financial analysis and mathematical calculations such as ratios, amortization schedules and more
- Understands the Credit Union philosophies and principles
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Is a team player, always willing to jump in and help other team members
- Pays attention to the details, no matter how big or small
- Is proactive, going the extra mile to support our members
