Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Manage and oversee the safe, reliable operation and environmental compliant operation of the electrical generating facility(s). Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements, applicable industry technical standards and company policies. Operate the plant(s) in a manner that minimizes the cost of generation and maximizes profitability while maintaining the long-term viability of the station assets. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Ensure standards are established and implemented to provide a safe work environment. - Effectively manage all resources to ensure generation of electricity in a timely and reliable manner at the direction of the Power Team. - Maintain a positive work environment and good employee relations. Provide guidance for employee development opportunities and timely feedback regarding performance. - Serve as a change agent for business initiatives, while assuring the human element is understood and considered - Manage the station O&M; and capital budgets to minimize costs and maximize profitability while ensuring the long-term viability of the assets. - Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements and maintain environmental stewardship. - Maintain effective community relations to promote a positive image of the Company. - Perform all other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - BS in engineering (or related) OR Associates Degree with 8+ years experience OR H.S. Diploma with 10+ years experience - Minimum of 10 years professional experience - Minimum of 8 years power plant (or related) experience - Minimum of 5 years supervisory/managerial experience - Professional or technical level experience in a technical role at a power plant - Minimum 8 years power plant operations (or related) experience - At least 2 of the following: Corporate/Staff, Engineering, Maintenance, or Outage - Must be successfully recommended by the Exelon Managerial Assessment evaluation unless presently a manager who has continuously supervised maintenance or operating personnel for a minimum of twelve months PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's Degree in engineering, business or related field - Multi-site experience - Multi-departmental experience - Collective bargaining experience Constellation is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and employees or applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to: age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
