Production Team Member

Oregon Tool Canada Ltd., a division of Oregon Tool, Inc. is hiring part-time permanent production team members. Our Team Members make world class saw chain and guide bars for chain saws. Oregon Tool Canada Ltd. is in Guelph, Ontario. The available positions are for Weekend shift part time - Saturday and Sunday only - 12 hours per day.

Part-time Weekend shift - 7 am to 7 pm - paid 12 hours daily - 24 hours total

What you’ll do :

  • Production Team Members perform many tasks including operating equipment and using computer systems to monitor operations.
  • Entering production data into computer systems,
  • Using tools for accurate measuring ensuring the quality of the product.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues and performing light maintenance of equipment

What you have :

  • Successful applicants come from diverse experiences and backgrounds and have learning, basic writing and math skills.
  • Successful applicants are engaged, committed individuals who are used to working in quality first environments. Successful applicants are self-motivated and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Previous machine/equipment operation experience or manufacturing experience is an asset but not required
