This is a full-time, year-round position with plenty of opportunity for overtime. You’ll be on the front line of major infrastructure projects, making real difference in people’s lives in the communities we serve. You will need to be open to fun and exciting new ideas, challenges and technical work. You will need to be passionate about welding and productivity.RequirementsValid welding certification, CWB, SMAW Or FCAWMinimum B level log book or equivalent.Class “A”, “IT” or “R” certification from TSBC with the ability to pass our internal procedural tests for each job Jewel works on and produce X-ray quality welds on demand.Possess a valid driver’s license.Ability to work independently in a busy environment.Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below waist.Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.Willingness to travel to off-site locations as needed.Must have own steel-toe boots and hard hat.Jewel Welding Fabrication and Coatings Ltd., is a privately-owned company based in Maple Ridge, BC.
