Office Administrator

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls.
  • Scheduling and coordination of patient appointments.
  • Collection of payments and the handling of cash.
  • Some accounts receivables.
  • Processing of medical insurance claims, WCB claims, and Motor Vehicle Accident claims.
  • Filing.
  • Light janitorial office cleaning.
  • Wash/dry/folding of laundry.

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient with Windows based software.
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute or more.
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures is an asset but not required.

  • Dependability and timeliness is a must.
  • Should be healthy, physically fit, and have good personal hygiene.
  • Smoke-free environment.
