Accounting technician, Supplier revenue

Department :Accounting

Location: Laval (4204, boul. Industriel, Laval)

Type :Permanent, Full time (37,5 hours per week)

Hybridmode :3 days in the office and 2 days remotely

Reporting to the Supervisor, Supplier Revenue, within the Accounting team, the Supplier Revenue Technician will provide valuable assistance to the Commercialization team in each of our Canadian divisions to ensure that negotiated margins with suppliers are met. The technician will work closely with the Pricing Management team and the Supplier Revenue Analysts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Validation and creation in the accounting system of promotional discounts according to the monthly discounts in store;
  • Extraction of promotional discounts from the accounting system and analysis of the information in order to prepare invoices to our suppliers;
  • Invoice monthly promotional discounts to our suppliers;
  • Assisting the Supplier Revenue Analysts in the end of periods by performing certain accounting entries, analyses and data extractions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education :

  • DEC or AEC in Accounting

Experience :

  • Two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting or in a store;

Knowledge and skills :

  • Excellent command of office tools such as Excel and Word;
  • Be meticulous, autonomous, and show initiative;
  • Ability to manage priorities while respecting deadlines;

Language skills :

  • Bilingualism is mandatory (French and English).
