Position Overview : We are currently seeking a motivated Carpentry Laborer to join our afternoon shift team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry industry. Responsibilities :
- Assist with various carpentry tasks under the guidance of experienced tradespeople
- Measure, cut, and assemble dimensional lumber for floor systems, wall systems, and ceiling/roof systems
- Aid in the installation of joist hangers, vapor seal, sheathing, and insulation
- Operate power and pneumatic tools under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Requirements :
- Previous experience in carpentry or construction
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and skilled tradespeople
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Positive attitude and eagerness to develop new skills
