Description Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Cashier Supervisor to join our Food team on a full-time basis at our location in Vermilion, AB. Reporting to the Assistant Food Store Manager. Cornerstone Co-op proudly participates in Alberta’s Rural Renewal Program to support our St. Paul community; however, we are not able to process LMIA applications at this time. What You’ll Do: - Full availability to work a variety of shifts - Sun-Sat 8 am - 9:30 pm (including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis - opening and closing shifts of this position are expected) - Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences - Assist in Provide leadership and direction to the Cashier team in order to ensure a highly productive atmosphere exists - Assist the Assistant Food Store Manager in directing and overseeing the Cashier team as assigned - Actively out on the sales floor working one-on-one with team members and leading by example - Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties - Conduct Talent Management practices for the Cashier team as assigned - Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's mission, values, brand and focus on safety - Perform other duties as assigned Why it matters: We need you to lead outstanding Co-op experiences.
