Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role ensures smooth HR operations and supports organizational growth and development. *Duties and Responsibilities* - Full cycle recruitment; posting job advertisements, screening resumes, selection, prescreening, scheduling interviews with hiring managers, onboarding, and post-termination. - Schedule pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and criminal background checks for new hires in coordination with company processes. - Maintain and create company forms, letters, and job descriptions ensuring they are accurate. - Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Manager. - Complete employee status changes in HRIS (i.e., wage changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.) and ensure communication of changes to all required departments in a timely matter. - Assist with HR initiatives and projects. - Maintain electronic records of employee personnel-related data. - Assist with process implementation and improvement as needed. - Other HR related responsibilities as assigned. *Education & Training* - Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field. - Excellent computer skills and demonstrated experience in database management and record keeping. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel at an intermediate level. *Experience*: - 2 years experience in a Human Resources Administration/Coordinator role. - Experience with PayWorks, SureHire, and Indeed considered an asset. - Previous experience in a mining and/or manufacturing environment is considered an asset. *Competencies:* - Demonstrate high standards of ethics and maintain highly confidential information. - Excellent people skills - Self-motivated, positive work ethic and ability to function independently and in a team - High level of initiative and ability to work independently and maintain significant initiative under minimum supervision or direction. - Ability to work well with others by engaging and fostering positive relationships with all representatives. - Ability to work closely and openly within the team, being cross trained in all aspects of the department. - Ability to use systems, tools, and skills, organize workload, meet strict time sensitive deadlines and prioritize a diverse workload. - Strong interpersonal skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problem.
