Parts Person (Journeyperson)

Job Description

The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for an experienced Parts Person with large earthworks equipment experience. Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks, and mine construction contractor in Canada.

We require an experienced Parts Person to join our team to work at our shop in Acheson Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to project sites.
• Provide assistance to Heavy Equipment Technicians as required.
• Place orders for specialized parts.
• Make inventory and bin adjustment recommendations.
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
• Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.
• General shipping and receiving duties as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyperson parts person ticket
• Previous JDE experience is an asset
• Ability to deal with multiple requests and various vendors
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with heavy equipment parts, specifically CAT, JD, and Komatsu
• Prefer experience with SIS and other heavy equipment vendor parts software is an asset
• Forklift experience
