Rigger / Swamper

NCSG Hauling and Rigging have a great opportunity for a Rigger / Swamper in our Bonnyville branch. This individual is an integral member of the team responsible for assisting the loading, offloading and rigging. The Rigger / Swamper have responsibility for following all company and a client policies, practices and procedures and representing the company in a professional manner. Why Join our Team? Your Success will be defined by your ability to: Working in tandem as a team with an Operator, safely perform tasks relative to loading, offloading and rigging various materials and/or equipment in the field. Work in outside conditions in all weather environments. Complete pre job system evaluations and FLRA’s daily to ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated. Ensures work activities are performed in a safe, productive, and efficient manner. Ensures all required paperwork including but not limited to; time sheets including job numbers, FLRA’s, maintenance requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to make decisions based on information. Motivated and driven to succeed. Operates with high integrity; builds trust, quickly wins and sustains credibility in relationships with others. Other duties assigned as required. Qualifications: Successful completion of pre-employment alcohol and drug test required. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas, Mining and/or Power Industry is preferred; Understanding of rigging fundamentals is an asset; Physical job, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Experience in pilot cars required; Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean abstract are required; Must be a member of or willing to become a member of CLAC; CSTS 2020 required. H2S required. First Aid required. CSO required.
