Eagle Builders, located in Blackfalds Alberta, is a family-owned and operated company, established in 2000. We proudly serve all over Western Canada in precast concrete. We manufacture precast concrete for industrial, commercial, agricultural, and civil infrastructure and have built an outstanding name in the construction industry. Job Descriptions

• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, plans and building codes
• Determine the type and amount of material required for each project
• Use wood and other materials to build structures and forms to place concrete
• Safely operate hand and power tools with caution and precision
• Accurately measure and cut materials to required specification
• Establish methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Keep a clean and organized work environment
• Observe and follow all OSHA Standards
• Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Assets

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Carpenter
• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program
• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to drive to the shop every day

Requirements :

• Construction knowledge: how to build projects depicted
• Ability to read blueprints
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding critical thinking skills
• Good math and problem-solving skills
• Leadership skills are essential
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
• Night shift start time is between 7pm and 7:30pm
• Physically able to perform demanding work for extended periods of time (laying, bending, squatting, lifting, etc.)
