We are looking for an organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and driven Estimator with prior experience in a manufacturing environment being an asset. The company has multiple manufacturing locations across North America. The estimator, located in Ste-Marie, will have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of professionals. Advantages Available after 90 days, including extended healthcare, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance, with cost-sharing at 50/50. Responsibilities Prepare estimates by gathering necessary information from internal sales teams. Obtain material pricing and perform cost analysis. Review product specifications to accurately determine material quantities. Draft accurate quotes and proposals for customers. Ensure estimates are completed in a timely manner. Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Planning, Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, and Shipping. Contribute to team goals by achieving related results as needed. Maintain and back up cost data. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience in estimating (preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment). Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel for analysis and report generation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening and presentation abilities. Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft Office, accounting software, CRM, etc.).
