Our expectations

Working with your manager and various business partners, you will maintain an optimal level of inventory for product categories and stores under your responsibility.

Your role

  • Participate in the development, planning, and execution of marketing strategies for the categories under your responsibility Issue, analyze, adjust, and maintain sales forecasts for products under your responsibility using JDA Demand software
  • Prepare promo forecasts for the product category under your responsibility
  • Define and maintain supply parameters in connection with the Company’s inventory management strategy while supporting merchandising initiatives for products under your responsibility
  • Ensure excellent collaboration between business partners in charge of merchandising
  • Coordinate Supply Chain operations with the relevant departments
  • Analyze and monitor performance indicators (product supply, MAPE, turnover rate, inventory budget, dashboard, product status, etc.)

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations research, operations management, engineering, statistics, or a related field
  • 2-5 years’ related experience in demand planning and inventory management
  • Strong ability to analyze data and make recommendations
  • Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and Access (knowledge of JDA is an asset)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Organizational skills, thoroughness, self-direction, and attention to detai
  • Well-developed business acumen and sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with the retail industry and/or distribution (an asset)
